"And he (Jesus) went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed..."-(MATTHEW 26:39).

And, behold, one came and said unto him (Jesus), "Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?" And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? There is none good but One, that is God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the Commandments.-(MATTHEW 19:16-17).

Was Jesus(pbuh) praying to himself in the first excerpt if he is one in three?

Why did Jesus(pbuh) in the second excerpt clearly indicate that noone is good, not even him, except God?

This is assuming if you believe in the Trinity

Jesus always referred to himself as having been sent by God (John 17:3) and his followers, too, considered him a man approved by God (Qur'an 19:37; Acts 2:22, John 3:2).

Jesus prayed to God like all other God-fearing individuals (Luke 5:16), and engaged in spiritual exercises such as fasting (Matt 4:2). Furthermore, Jesus lacked knowledge of the future (Mark 13:32), as only the Divine Being possesses perfect and complete knowledge.

Jesus (On whom be peace) was not God, there is only ONE God. Jesus was a Prophet sent by God to confine to the Children of Israel. (Qur'an 3:50, Matt. 10:5-6; 15:24)

Jesus wasn't muslim, He was Jewish.
Jesus prayed like that because at the same time He was 100% GOD. He was also 100% man, complete with our temptations, and desires. He took on human sin in the form of a man, that's why His death was the ulitmate payment for us. GOD actually bought us twice.
First He made us
Second He had to buy us back

Nay, Jesus was not worshipping himself, but God. The meaning is clear - Jesus is not God.

Interesting though, I never noticed Jesus prayed like a muslim!

I saw this question and it made me sit up a bit, and take an interest, so I read your profile and found many questions that were also straight to the point and not really up to any sort of logical debate, all very valid questions with not many valid answers.Religion and logic are a contradiction of terms!
However I fail to see what your purpose is in pointing out the many flaws you have noticed, (although I had a spate of doing just that at one time myself)!
Not only with the Christian religion, but all religions,
(including Islam) and not with the aim of converting people away from their chosen religion, but it was my aim in life to point out that all religions are a complete waste of space and have caused so much trouble throughout history that they should all be banned.
I realized that nothing I ever said, no matter how 'logical'
would change the mind of a 'believer' !
I still frequently 'have a bash' in this forum at questions asked by so called 'religious' folk that have only ever read one book and obviously don't even understand that!! (You appear to have looked into quite a few 'Holy books')
Otherwise I try to ignore it all, I'm just interested in what it is you are trying to achieve? If its just to find fault with religions, then that's far too easy, (and I mean all religions, including Islam)!! If your aim is to gain converts, not much chance in that is there?
Why not come out with it, what is your aim??

It's verses like these that cause me to question the idea of Trinity. There are countless numbers of references to Jesus and God as two distinct people. Jesus never wanted to receive any of the glory, but instead he wanted people to glorify God. If he were one and the same, then it wouldn't have mattered who the people bowed down to.

There is no trinity. Jesus is God manifest in the flesh. The flesh was praying to the spirit.

Taken out of context and out of order.

Clearly Jesus was not, and is not, muslim.
