Because she didnt like you as much as you thought she did. Harsh, but thats probably the truth. At least you had a nice time on the date... if you cant stand the rejection, tell yourself she died or that she is a lesbian or that she could tell that you were to huge for her. Otherwise, you should care more about the girls that DO call you back rather than the ones that DONT....

Girls play a game with a guys mind. They tell you that they enjoyed the date and want to go in another one. We dont mean it!! Its fun to play with guys minds. We get enjoyment out of it. Go find you another date tat wont do this 2 u!
