obviously humans can "reason".

however, I think the animals have the superior bodily advantages because they are made to survive in their environment and nothing has gotten messed up along the way. Most of us are out of shape and smoke, do drugs etc that negatively affects us physically.

Mentally, humans have the advantage. We can create, invent, express ourselves in ways the animals can't.

...Man can love, create, build, and invent things, create beautiful artistic things, and can communicate with words and language - the animals cannot do all these things.
...Animals act on instinct and generally are trained using rewards and punishments, whereas man has the ability to make moral decisions. Men create societies with laws - animals don't do this.
...God created man in His own image, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life - God did this for no other creation of His. Man was created to know God and enjoy Him forever, but has fallen short of the glory of God, since all are sinners. Mankind can be reconciled to God and have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
...Acts 16:31 says, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved."

Humans have the ability to percieve past, present and future. Humans also have the ability to attach 'meaning' to almost anything. Opposable thumbs are neat too, but they don't make us human, just primates! :)
