Boy is that a loaded question!
But the answer is no, the bank has to keep it private to the individual unless a Judge intervenes (only in extreme cases).

Speaking as the nation's top credit expert (visit www.LearnAboutCredit.com) ..
The bank is supposed to require your signature to draw your credit. Go see the bank manager and complain that they did an unauthorized and illegal credit pull. Rake him/her over the coals and see what they'll offer you.
And that husband needs a serious talk, too. Kinda violates the rules of communication in a marriage, yes?

NO, he can't. he needs your consent or power of attorney. Even with power of attorney some banks will still decline to give you a spouse's credit report.

if you are in a community property state he'll get your credit report along with his. If he requests his report from the credit reporting agency, I'll bet your info is on it.

People have forgotten to add that if you have maintained joint credit in both your names, that that credit will show up on both your reports. Depends upon how you have/hold your credit.

Maybe. There are websites that will allow him to get your credit report using only your SSN. (annualcreditreport.com) He can just type in your information.
If you're hiding debt from him, let him know. Better for him to hear it directly from you than finding it out by being dishonest.

....but he can run a credit check on you, (or anybody else),
they cost a few bucks & companies that do them can be found
by looking up "credit report" in the telephone book or on-line.
It is not illegal & have become routine in many industries.
