Not all, not all man made laws are moral. Abortion in the US is legal in some states and it is against the spiritual teaching. It is the intention of one person. Remember Jesus, became angry when money changers have taken the gentiles area in the temple of Solomon and He did not sin. It is the heart's intention that matters, if you are speeding for a cause then you violated the law of men but I think not the law of God, but if youare speeding to satisfy your pride and with the intention of putting others in trouble, then you violated both laws from men and God and you got two whammies.

There are no sins - Christ already died for them all - there is only the Golden Rule to obey to get into heaven - that is it.

As for God's law and Man's law - it is written to obey both, but Man's laws are Man's laws, and not to be confused with God's laws. If what you do obeying Man's laws breaks God's law, then that is how it is - because you live in the world of Man. There are many such laws that you follow that break God's laws all the time, all day long - and unless you have studied the Bible and UNDERSTOOD it, you may never know that you have been.

The Bible does say that people should obey the laws of the land. Refer to Romans, chapter 13, on the topic of Respect for authority.

I would guess that most would say that ones conscience should take precedence over laws. Some laws are unjust, and even harmful.

It isn't a sin but you are supposed to obey the laws of your governernment without they are in opposition to the Bible. Laws are there for a reason. If a law is in opposition to the Bible then it is a sin to obey it. For example if you are a clergy person sit would be a sin to perform a marriage ceremony for a homosexual.

Move to Germany... there you can speed all you want on the autobahn. You are actually pulled aside, if you drive too slow, even if you are driving on the right lane. You have to take driving lessons..... theory + practical, you spend hundreds- in fact your whole month salary might not be enough to get your license. A lot of people never pass the written test... others get so nervous on the autobahn or regular streets..... they never get their license or it takes them years. I passed mine after the first, both written and practical test. Nevertheless, the autobahn became more and more frightening to me the less I drove. When a porshe, BMW or a Mercedes drives on the very left lane, it looks like a Nascar car is about to get you.... and when that kind of car passes by you on your left... it goes VOOOM... seconds only and you can't see the car anymore. Very scary. There are speed limits on the Autobahn, too... , but owners of cars that are built for speed don't think it applies to them...lol. Speed on regular streets, though... and before you know it- your license is revoked.... even for not stopping when the traffic light jumps back to yellow. (yeah- it goes: red-yellow-green-yellow-red)
So,... it's ok to speed on the autobahn..... but big sin on regular roads.
Not in the Bible- no. Manmade- yes... because they had no cars back then, but it applies to the commandments that say you should not kill and you should love your neighbor.

It is a sin to put other people's lives at risk, for the sake of your own pleasure..

If you think you are commiting a sin only because the bible says a particular act is a sin, then you really have whole idea of Sin messed up...

In 1 Timothy 2:1-3 it talks about praying for kings and men in authority. In Daniel, King Nebuchadnezzar was told that God gave the the kingdoms to whosoever He willed. (Dan 4:25). We are supposed to obey the laws of the land unless it goes against God's law. Then we are to obey God rather than man. (Acts 5:29) Other than that we are to obey the laws of the land. (Rom. 13:7)

Depending on the law that is broken it may not be sinful, but it is illegal within the country that established those laws. Laws of government do not always equate the same as sins under God's commandments.

Jesus and his church uphold the validity and necessity of following just laws of civil government that are made for the common good.

Numerous passages in scripture do the same.

In that light, deliberately violating a speed limit is also a sin.
