The Nazis took a dislike to the Jews because as far as they were concerned they had infiltrated the German community and sucked money from the economy to distribute amongst their own community. In effect they were taking from the native Germans and selling back but keeping and sharing the profits amongst themselves. Eventually the Nationals rebeled with the terrible outcome that has become one of the darkest episodes in history.I don't wish to offend anyone but isn't history repeating it's self in Britain with the Muslims? For example they take over entire areas in cities basicaly by buying people out then the people have to pay them to buy produce because they own the shops, they have to pay them to go places because they own the Taxis ( and pay more at Christmas etc. even though to the Muslims our religious celebration are just another day! ) what do we get back from them ? Do we get double time for working on their Religious days.? Should I now expect a death threat for an opinion

Hmmm, difficult issue at the moment most definitely, the problem being not only the religious issue, but quite a deeply political one as well. Looking back to the time of Hitler, we wonder how the Nazis, and all the people of Germany who fought for them could be so cruel, callous and prejudiced towards the Jews, and yet here we are in the UK doing something similar to the Muslims, because as far as I can tell, that's what the Government wants us to do. There's a lot of generalisation going on about Muslims here, let's try seeing them as individuals, real people with real lives, many of who integrate very well with our society whilst still retaining their own customs, religious practices and beliefs, and who will be as opposed to any forms of fundamentalism as anyone else. How many of us are fully aware of the teachings of Mohammed anyway? Do you really know what these people believe and how it affects their judgments in daily life? Precious few I imagine. And isn't fundamentalism in Christianity, or anywhere else for that matter, a real problem? I think so. The whole situation with the East and West, the war for oil and so on is basically being stirred up, and people all listening to the propaganda, taking it all in and acting without really thinking for themselves. Why shouldn't a Muslim drive a taxi or own a shop? Good luck to them, or anyone who wishes to do so. Nobody forces people to sell their properties to Muslims do they? Do you want to see an ethnic cleansing on the streets of Britain? It could happen, if people continue to base their opinions on the very narrow slice of truth given to them via TV and the tabloid press. Let's hope in this age of communication and access to information from other sources than Government controlled media, we can avoid such a thing happening. It's still (allegedly) a free country (for everyone, including Muslims!) so let's keep it that way, including free speech as well, even if some people find it offensive!

Being a student of history i think there is much more difference in Muslims and Jews. The Jews in fact pulled away the wealth from Europe for sake of Their community whereas the Muslims living the world over and 1/5th of the world population. Secondly very often they have been seen enjoying their life where they are and above all they do not take care of their community when it com mes to wealth. So if the Muslims are inhabitants of Britain then they have got every right to be benefit ted from there and if they are running shops or taxis then they are in fact serving that country. We need not to see the peoples what their religion is because peoples are converting their religion. What will u say if all of Hindus residing there becomes Muslims or Muslims becomes Hindus or Christians. So forget about and see nationality. I have seen many racial British who have changed their religion to Islam so what one can say if that new Muslim is having shops or taxis. In US the peoples are changing to Islam very rapidly which does not mean that by becoming Muslims they are becoming threat to the nation or society.

"The UK is slowly becoming a Muslim nation" No it isn't. There are less than 2 million Muslims in a population of 61 million. "the most popular boys name in Britain just now Mohamed". No it isn't. Add all the various spelling of Mohammed together (but not the varied spellings of 'English' names) and Mohammed comes 2nd. But don't forget that nearly every Muslim family will want to honour the prophet by naming a son after him. There isn't the same tradition among British Christians. "remember the river of blood speech by Enoch Powell". Yes, I do, and it makes no mention of Islam. I'm willing to bet a sizable sum of money that you have never read it, still less understood it. "Us true British soon could fighting Muslims in our own country in a civil war against Muslims" - only in your BNP wet dreams. You really are displaying gross ignorance, backed up with lies and distortions.

Don't expect a death threat for anything...we're all here to ask and answer in a civilized way...

If you think your theory can be proved, and that if you think that people living in an area actually dominate the area economy you're wrong...When you buy from Muslim-owned shops, it's the same as buying from a non-Muslim-owned shopt, because both pay the same amount of taxes on their sales. So the governemt is getting money from them, like it's getting money from anyone else who lives in the UK

About getting double time for working on our religious days, thats something you must discuss with your local parliament member, becuase the UK government does not give vacations on Muslim occassions

Muslims are the latest in a long history of peoples coming to Britain for the freedoms we offer and promote, not getting much sympathy from the locals, ghettoizing for safety in numbers, before eventually integrating more fully into our culture. It happened with Jews, with Indians, with Pakistanis, with Bangladeshis, with West Indians, with lots of different peoples who are now to a greater or lesser extent more integrated, and it's also happening with Eastern Europeans and it'll always happen because we have a great society that lots of people want to join, until maybe in the far distant future when we have a fairer world and everybody's happy where they are.

I think a lot of people may have that perception, but Muslims do not suck money out of communities to anything like the extent that Tescos etc. do!
In fact small shopholders greatly add to the richness and variety of our shops and I'm not bothered what religion they are because I think all religions are delusions. It can be difficult to find a decent slice of bacon in a Moslem area though.

I am very afraid, that this may be the case certainly in the northern parts of this country where there is a higher Muslim population.

The whole point is that on the whole, it is the Government and "do-gooders" who incite racial hatred. For example, I do not know of any Muslims who are against Christians celebrating Christmas. However, local authorities etc., would have us believe this.

Yes I think some Christian Radical, maybe a Catholic (like Hitler) will kill of a lot of Muslims, just because the western Media portrays all Muslims to be terrorists. It is sad really that this will inevitably happen unless people open their eyes and become educated about ALL religion, so some of the violence and future violence would stop.

BTW just to tell you, even though Christmas is a Christian holiday, it has become more and more commercialized over the years. So to most people it is a commercial holiday

you are entitled to your own opinion,I am definitely not prejudice as I have lovely neighbours of different religions and you couldn`t ask for better, what I can`t understand is ,if we British go abroad there are places where we can`t wear what we want and we comform ,we take our shoes off in certain places ,we cover our heads,we don`t wear short skirts or shorts and respect this when in Rome etc,I am very sorry if I upset anyone but I don`t agree with some of the things that our neighbours do when living in our country freedom of speech seems to have gone out of the window ,please can`t we all live together and give a little ,not all one way but both
