Past civilizations had what they called religions. Sumerians, Egyptians, Greeks and Romans worshipped many gods and practiced special rites. American aborigenes also did it their way. Some tribes even practiced human sacrifice. The communities abode by their doctrines and respected their religious leaders just like Christian believers have done for over 20 centuries and still do today. Will there come a time that will change if science prevails over religion? Just compare past with present to get a glimpse at the future. Zeus, creator and father, also came to Earth in flesh and bone, lived up, high, beyond the clouds on the peak of Mt. Olympus with his celestial court of gods and godesses who were all immortals. Doesn't that ring a bell?

Religions come and go and evolve and develop. In another 3,000 years Christianity (and all the rest) will have eitehr evolved beyond recognition or have been replaced by something else. Humans have been around for a long time and have always been spiritual, but many religions and beliefs have come and gone. Nothing stays the same forever!
