NO Vitamin D comes from being in the sun. When the light from the sun is absorbed through the skin your body makes Vitamin D.
And vitamin D is needed to help you with the Vitamin C. It is all a balancing act of vitamins and minerals. Missing some, it will affect others. Too much of one it can affect the others. Learn what your body needs and work to keep it balanced

First of all: There's is no vitamin C in the sun! But it helps to build up vitamin D which is necessary to build up bones and keep them healthy - so you need some sunlight or at least daylight. Too much sun causes skin cancer - don't you know this? If you go into sunlight then use sun protection depending what sort of skin you have - the lighter your skin is the higher the sun protection and the lower the time you can stay in the sun. So you can say that people with blonde and red hair/blue or grey eyes need more protection than people with olive or dark skin and dark brown hair and eyes. I can tell you stories about myself: I have lightbrown hair and blue/grey eyes and I need rather high sun protection. I hardly get tanned but only a sun burn - and if I forget to use sun protection when going into the sun I get itching pimples which isn't very funny.

Vitamin C comes from our diet. While it may be argued that all plants get their energy from the sun, this is not the source of Vitamin C. You are probably thinking of Vitamin D which can be added to some foods by exposing them to sun light and also can be absorbed directly into the skin.
See reference info on Vitamin C & D below:
Vitamin C is ascorbic acid and is naturally found in nature, while some animals have the ability to produce their own vitamin C, human beings do not produce vitamin C themselves and are totally reliant on the vitamin C they get in their diets. Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin and we do not have large stores of vitamin C in our body. If we don't eat vitamin C then within about six weeks we develop the signs of deficiency of vitamin C, that is scurvy. Vitamin C is normally deposited in the skin and is an essential part of the anti-oxidant brigade to protect skin against free radical assault from the atmosphere and from ultra violet light.
Vitamin D is basically absorbed in the following way:
Basically, UVB light triggers a modification of a cholesterol-related molecule located in the membrane of skin cells. The vitamin D that is created is then ejected from the membrane into our circulation system, where it travels to the liver. In this organ, it is transformed into 25-hydroxyvitamin D, the derivative that doctors use to assess overall vitamin-D status.
The kidney, as well as some other tissues, further converts this precursor into 1,25-hydroxyvitamin D, the most physiological active vitamin-D metabolite, which is also called calcitrol. Traditionally, calcitrol is understood as a hormone that, together with parathyroid hormone, regulates blood calcium levels and, in turn, bone density. In this role, calcitrol targets the intestine, where it promotes calcium absorption; and bone, where it catalyzes calcium release to help restore depleted blood calcium levels.

Discussion has got highjacked to VitaminD. D does not come from the sun. Human body requires sunlight to produce it. What comes from the sun is electromagnetic radiation.
