Difference? Well, it depends upon if you are talking about the world view or God's view. If you are talking the view of the world then yes there is a difference because people want to make a difference. Now, if we are going to talk about God then there is no difference. God does not make a distinction about either one - you nor anyone else is to practice those things that are not of God. Do not perform or practice these things because they are evil and will lead you to death and not want God wants to give to you or anyone else.

Mysticism is direct communion with the Ori, in any form it/they take. Magick is the channeling of Divine power through the magus to attain a desired result in the seen world (this dimension).

A mystic is one who is able to more fully appreciate the spiritual realm, and even interface with it.
One could make a case that all of the great saints were mystics.
Magic is different, in that true magic would require invoking spirits with powers that humans do not possess, in order to do supernatural works.
The difference lies in the powers which one is mysticly in touch.
If God, then there is no problem, as his divine will is in control.
If not God, than the mystic is interfacing with forces opposed to God, and that is a problem, as God forbids us to engage in such practices.

Generally speaking, mysticism is theory; thinking about thing, how one could accomplish it.
Magic, on the other hand, is the active side of the coin--putting said theories into practice.
