Many humans believe that the divine title of Jehovah will have to no longer be used, in view that the pronunciation in brand new grammarians argue that it have to be learn Yahveh or Yahveh; however Jehovah turns out firmly rooted within the English language and the fairly foremost factor isn't the detailed pronunciation, however cognizance that this can be a right title, no longer simply an appellative identify like Lord. Please allow me direct you in your bible at Psa. eighty three:18 – which reads, “May humans understand that you simply whose title is Jehovah, You by myself are the Most High over the entire earth. Jehovah’s title looks over seven-hundred occasions within the publication of Psalms. Isaiah forty two:eight. . . “I am Jehovah. That is my title; and to nobody else shall I supply my possess glory, neither my compliment to graven photographs. So right here we will be able to see that Jehovah, God’s title is getting used international extensive, so this is the reason we have got to admire and contact upon the title Jehovah. The bible fairly offers well perspective on how we will have to use Jehovah’s truly title rather of titles and that’s why we admire and use Jehovah’s truly title.

Jehovah God is His real name. Read Psalm 83:18. His name appears over 7,000 times in the Bible. Unfortunately in most Bibles, the name was removed because people thought the name was too holy to say.

“Jehovah” (Heb., , YHWH), God’s personal name, first occurs in Genesis 2:4. The divine name is a verb, the causative form, the imperfect state, of the Hebrew verb (ha·wah´, “to become”). Therefore, the divine name means “He Causes to Become.” This reveals Jehovah as the One who, with progressive action, causes himself to become the Fulfiller of promises, the One who always brings his purposes to realization. Actually his name occurs in the Hebrew text 6,828 times as (YHWH or JHVH), generally referred to as the Tetragrammaton (literally meaning “having four letters”).
Psalms 83:18 says: That people may know that you, whose name is Jehovah, You alone are the Most High over all the earth.

From the Islamic point of view, God has 99 descriptions (which some consider it names)...From them are : The Al-Mighty, The Most Merciful, The Light...etc
note that these are just descriptions to the same God...
the word " Allah " is the Arabic word for God, and so Muslims don't worship a different God other than Jews and Christians

It is Y-hw-h, but we do not know how to pronounce it, but we do know that Yah for short, is correct. Allelu-YAH means praise God in every language. Jesus's real name is YAH-shua, which means God's salvation. God has many names such as El-Elyon(The Lord Most High) and El-Shaddi(The Lord Of More Than Enough), but not all names are God's. For an example, Allah is not God's name because Allah's nature contradicts God's character. Allah is just a demon who has disguised himself to be God to lead millions of people to hell. If you want to follow the Creator of the Universe, you must accept His Son Jesus as your Lord and Savior. When you do, God will give you the gift of the Holy Ghost, God Himself. He will manifest Himself unto you if you will seek Him with all of your heart and soul.

men have names so that they can be identified. but God has names so that His character can be identified. in other words God's names discribe and reveal his character. for example, God introduced Himself to Moses as Jehovah. Jehovah is the Jewish national name of God which means self Existent or eternal. thus the name Jehovah is revealing to us one of his character as the self existent. thus all His names (which are all his real names) reveal his character. study d Bible for more information

He has many names but I assume He can call himself whatever he wants. And as long as you are praising Him with true and faithful praise I do not think he cares whether you call him El Shaddai, Eloim, Yahweh, Jehovah, God of Abraham, or G-d.
