Well, I go to an Iraqi chat site where 1/2 the Iraqis speak English, www.iraq4u.com , and they are generally against the U.S., and 1 big reason is the U.S. support for Israel. Iraqis even fought Israel in the war of 1948 and don't forget the Scuds sent express to Israel in the 1st Gulf War.

There are millions of Palestinians who don't just want the West Bank and Gaza but want to return to Israel itself where they once lived. They have never been financially compensated for their loss and given a place to live by the U.N., and the average American ignores their demands.

Could it have something to do with the fact that the US invaded Iraq, toppled the government, and has killed thousands of Iraqi citizens? Please quit watching FOX news. Remember this, the US was not invited nor are they wanted in Iraq. It's all about the Bush IE. Skull and bones plan for world domination.

Well suppose the USSR had somehow managed to invade and occupy the USA? Would we have welcomed their idea of workers paradise? Recall that old movie "Red Dawn"? Face it. All through history people have not had the same idea's of freedom. One persons liberty is anothers oppression. And Iraq is a long way from a united country. Anything but right now.

The ones that are hurting our troops belong to radical militias. The common Iraqi people who try to raise a family and work hard everyday are glad that we liberated them. You can read the stories of the soldiers to find that out but you won't find that on your nightly news.

what did you expect ?

OK we came first to save them from a heartless leader, and we took him away. As they expected us just to pack our stuff and leave their country, instead, we remained on the excuse of finding WMD's and arrested some of their citizens, to maintain peace !!! Thus, it is absolutely natural that our troops will be resisted by some militias, or blown up by suicidal attacks !!

wouldn't you do it, if it was your country at hand ???

Because the Iranian and Syrian Governments send in trained officers to create and inflame an insurgency... neither Government wishes to see a secular democracy that unites and profits the Iraqi people... Heck, that could lead to REVOLUTION in their countries !!
