I would say that God made man; then man made gods. Man is always attempting to remake God into the image of what we want Him to be. Man does not want to face the concept of hell, so he makes a god who allows reincarnation or a god who promises only heaven and good things for everyone. Some have even created a god who rewards them for killing unbelievers, or a god who will grant you the vices in heaven you were forbidden to indulge in here on earth. I mean 70 virgins, get real.

Lower case "g" god means that man made god(s), i.e.idols. Man's churches are full of such gods.
Upper case "G" means God made man. His children have no churches built by hands. Mark 14:58
I guess it really depends on who's asking, and how good is their English.

There is no one who questions that man made god. Even those who believe in a god realize that the other gods were invented my men. Whether it be Aztec, Greek, Norse, or other gods.
So undoubtedly 99% of gods were invented by man.
I just round up to 100%.

GOD!!!! made man, and then wished he had not. Because man is so hard headed and ignorant of his will and his ways,, when they are so simple. Man has to make everything so hard, and complicated, when it is really simple to follow the Lord.

here is my view.If u r a strong believer in the existence of God or an orthodox,I think u would like 2 think God created man.But we have to think the otherway round.Man need a power to believe in so as to live,so as to survive,so as to face the adventures of life.This belief in a power which will protect him from every obstacles will surely help him to face life's adventures.Here we will have to think the other way round.There is a song in my language saying man created religions and religions created God's'.
