No no no, floating has nothing to do with weight, it has to do with displacement. This is why a huge fat person floats more than a tiny skinny person. You can learn more from Archimedes, who did a lot of work on water displacement and density over two thousand years ago in ancient Greece.

No.Actually low body fat will make them less buoyant.Their bony body would puncture and deflate whatever it was you were using as a floatation device.I don't know about everyone else but I like a LITTLE meat with my potatoes.
Less surface area makes them less resistant to surface tension as well.Don't try it you'll drown.
