People, please enlighten me on how you've hypothesized how evolution proves in the non-existance of God? I believe in evolution and I believe in God, the two co-exist, in fact God is evolution, evolution is God.Since when did it become so cliche to negate God with anything scientific?Did you get this from the bible? If so, you are wrong, the bible was not meant to be a history, geology, or an astronomy book, so get that misconception out of your head, its a book on how to live, nothing more nothing less.
I am not naive enough to think evolution does not exist. We were formed from micro organisms to what we have today along with that growing more and more intelligent throughout this universal existence. There is a path to evolution and that path is the highest form of consiousness and awareness of the surroundings all around you. We are ignorant creatures and utilize less of our brain than we can ever imagine. I believe in God and I believe in evolution why are the two seperated?

Thank you. Evolution itself is only the theory that organisms change over time to adapt to their surroundings. Certain traits are selected for, others are phased out. That part has been proven numerous times. (I'm not talking about one specific creature, but a species, over several generations.)
In and of itself evolution does not address the origin of life!!! Read that again. I'll wait.
Some evolutionists theorize that we evolved from micro organisms, or apes, or whatever... thats one common theory but it is not WHAT evolution IS.
I'll take it a step farther--I believe in God, intelligent design, AND evolution. Its a matter of to what extent... but evolution does not exclude the idea of God, and it baffles me that otherwise intelligent people refuse to see that.

The two are NOT separated. Read Genesis again. You will see that it specifically states that evolution was used to evolve all lifeforms on Earth and throughout the Universe.
You will also find such things as sayings that the Earth is round, Earth revolves around the sun, that there are 9 major planets in the solar system, that the Earth revolves around the sun in approx. 365 days, and much much more. If you remember back in the Dark Ages anyone who said as much about these matters were put to death in the name of the Church, but the Church itself hid the truth from everyone by printing the Bible only in Latin and only educating the priests to read them. Very much like what is happening with Islam today...

Evolution claims that all life began in the simplest forms ( I'm sure that you've read up on that ). Religion tell us that God made people in their present form. You can't believe both.
There is a mountain of scientific evidence that the world is many many millions of years old. The Christian church tells us that God made the earth 6000 years ago. You can't believe both.
If you believe that evolution is God, would you agree that the apostle's creed should be changed to something like - - - I believe in evolution, the creater almighty, etc, etc.

If you look at C-Junk's answer up there ^^ you get a very concise explanation. And a very telling one at that.
It isn't a person's relationship with their god that is effected by evolution, it's their relationship with their church/religion. Rather than see the bible as a collection of stories designed to teach morality, it is seen as a literal history. Their church leaders have taught them or encouraged them to think this way. Therefore, any 'attack' on their own dogma becomes an 'attack' on their god.
If more people had a close, personal relationship with their god, they wouldn't need a religion and/or wouldn't fear changes in thought in that religion. Unfortunately, for many people the relationship is not with god; it is with the church.

It doesn't. Evolution is such a small part of being an atheist. I was just thinking about this a little while ago....why do people think that evolution and atheism are synonymous? I don't believe in god because there is no empirical evidence of his existence--I have no reason to believe. Evolution is just a scientific theory that happens to support atheism (in my opinion).

That's good for you. The problem lies with the religious extremists who follow the Bible to the letter. They say that man began with Adam and Eve, thus Evolution and God cannot co-exist for them.
Personally I belive in Evolution, and keep an opne mind about evrything else.

Evolution just helps prove the Bible is not meant to be taken literally like most people believe.

God's Word says God CREATED, it does says He let things evolve.
Evolution is voodoo science with no proof.
Life can't evolve from non-life, and evolution can't explain how the very first lifeform came into existence.
Looks like Darwin has made a monkey out of all you evolutionists.

Evolution must be believed, there is evidence. I think that there may be a God. I totally agree with you. Why can't evolution and God be possible?

Of course what you say is true but the creationists want to discredit evolution by any means-they're not interested in facts or open and honest debate.
