Government supported by France and Germany. British just pulled out. There BAe was or is trying to pull out because of all the set backs for the A380. France wanted to then move the manufacturing plant to French soil. The Germans squawked and wanted it to stay where it is.
This is why its an unfair business to compete with the Private company Boeing.

Private which is highly subsidised by 4 countrys...
Kinda tells you something that it takes a combination of 4 european nations to compete with one American company and it is not much of a competition... Boeing wins

Boeing is the BEST!! I hope the A380 fails, its not fit to fly. It is going to be an outrage when one of thoes crashes 800 people dead. No way I will stick with boeing.
