U.S. External Policies have destroyed other countries' economies, and they also have kept many developing nations from "fully" developing. Illegal immigration is big-time a problem provoked by our own government. You, who don't know, go ahead and give me thumbs down but I'm just telling the truth. As a proof, U.S. is the country that has vetoed the most bills in the United Nations.
No doubt why they call our government "the empire."

Again, it's this govt's lack of 'governing' and lack of conceiving the product of letting down our guard and playing the big chump. Then getting in return 3 of our hard working good people, the bounty hunters, set-up then thrown in jail for the crime of 'entering' Mexico and capturing a RICH rapist of many girls. Our 3 people are going through hell cuz of Mex and we welcome illegals with benefits. Oh and let's support all who figure out it's smarter to come here and be added to our debt and produce lots of cost-free babies rather than banding together(millions) and reforming their beloved country like some Brave Fed-up citizens of Mexico are trying to do. Why don't they stay ther and back their own kind.I'm concerned, now with this over-pop issue, what kinda of solution they have in mind 4 US?

Why don't you proclaim yourself as the first American to take our "jobs" back and we'll see how many other American's will gladly get in line behind you for the jobs and the minimal wage. Oh yeah and on your way out to the fields, pick up the American transients along the way that hold up their signs that claim "Will work for food" see if they'll help you out.

The U.S. economy, through it's corporations, give a wink and a nod for illegal immigrants to come here. Our financial apparatus is based on it, so try punishing Archer Daniels Midland, Tyson Foods, or Walmart.

i think they can justify it by saying that americans themselves are 'illegals' originally, so who is anyone to say who is an 'illegal'? people who live in this country seem to have selective amnesia about how we actually got this country to begin with. secondly caucasions are now a minority in america, with latinos making up the majority, so i don't believe this question has relevance anyway. most 'illegals' in the past ended up doing something great for america anyway, due to their happiness and determination. if you're leaving your homeland and have the gumption and steadfastness to move hundreds or thousands of miles to another country, most are not going to come here to loaf around on the couch and watch 'springer'. and most of the jobs they take are ones that most americans believe are 'below' them, but then americans get annoyed when the 'illegals' take full advantage of their situation and open up their own businesses. businesses they did not have the opportunity to own in their native lands due to oppression or other problems not faced in america. if we go to a car repairman and they do a sub-standard job we either complain or go to someone who CAN get the job done right. we also look for a reasonable price. 'illegals' take advantage of this and prosper. don't blame them. blame americans.

It matters not how they were born. I respect their desire to get a better life, but being born poor does not give them an iherent right to break the immigration laws of another country. That is the way the world works, and it is completely fair.

our employers want to pay cheap wages & found people who are willing to accept it. they care more about profit than their fellow Americans.
as for the illegals coming over here because their families are in financial distress that's their govt's fault. instead they come to our country screw us & expect the Americans to change our ways to suit them. how selfish! those people don't deserve what they get here. I don't care who comes to this country as long as they do it legally & not with the intention to to advantage of us but then our govt allows that to happen.

This is a very hard issue to address and it really ends up on personal opinion. If you know what lives that most illegal immigrants come from, it's a hard one. Most of them don't care what the job is because they do it for the money; not the satisfation for working or being in the United States. How they justify being here? Personally, I don't know. All I know is that they are human beings that need money to provide for themselves and their famlies.

Have you ever tried or known anyone who tried to come here "legally?" It's a joke. Our government makes a laughingstock out of these already poor people by allowing them to pay fees and submit applications for visas and wait sometimes YEARS before getting the word their application was denied.
In my own personal instance my finace's visa was approved but when we flew to the consulate to reunite and come home together they deniend his visa there because he had overstayed his previous work visa - INFORMATION THEY ALREADY KNEW WHEN WE APPLIED! We were completely honest and forthcoming. We tried to do everything the right way. We spent thousands of $$ to get him here and it still didn't work. My fiance had lived here for 4 years prior paying taxes every year with his valid SSN given to him by our government when he originally came on his work visa. He had no criminal record and no arrests here or in Mexico. He had already proven himself to be a contributing, law-abiding citizen to this country and was turned away anyway. btw, he had already taught himself to speak English fluently as well.
He justified coming back here illegally because we had already established a life together. We had a home together. We had wedding plans. We loved each other. When you are placed in that situation where someone tells you that you can't be together because of a formality it makes it difficult to put your life on hold indefinitely and just wait until the "powers that be" deem you worthy enough to return.
My fiance risked his very life by crossing the border with a coyote to come back home to me. When we married we then had to pay MORE money to the government in the way of fines for my crime of marrying an illegal.
That is my story of illegal immigration. For the workers, they come here illegally because they know there is no sense in trying to get visas. It's a joke. They are starving. They are poor. They see work. They come. Survival instinct.

Come on, dufus: we're almost ALL "illegal"! Before our European ancestors came over here, there were only the native American Indians, who - by the way - revered the land as sacred. If they killed a buffalo, it was for the survival of the entire tribe, and nothing was wasted. A buffalo was used for food, clothing, and shelter, and it was shared by all members of the community.
Our "pilgrim" ancestors raped, pillaged, and killed Indians all for their own avarice. When 'frontiersmen' invaded the Wild West, we slaughtered buffalo just for the sport of it.
We've squandered this good Earth ever since, without regard to its limited natural resources, or without compassion for the sanctity of the land. We destroy national parks and other such treasures; we rape the land by building huge monolithic glass and cement monuments to our own egos; and we refuse to share our own bounty with others in our society who go to bed hungry, or without shelter. All because of our own hubris which makes us believe we're better than "them".
We Americans have become too rich, too lazy, too fat, and too selfish. We have no right to be here any more than the "new" illegal aliens who come to this country to try and find a better life (just as our ancestors did almost 400 years ago). But we seem to forget about all that because of our own selfish greed. -RKO-
