Not a problem. I have two boys and when it comes to diaper changing time, that means pull on the little "pee-pee" time. For baby boys that's really common. My sisters boys and my sister-in-laws boys all did the same at change time.
I say as long as their not hurting themselves, let them be little babies.

it is quite difficulty-loose for toddlers to flow via a piece while they're reluctant to pass stool. perhaps he went as quickly as and it truly harm, or possibly he had another undesirable adventure on the 2d and linked it, or in spite of. although, the greater you have a skill warfare approximately it, the greater severe it could replace into. youngsters have little skill of their lives, yet they understand there are some issues we can't effectively cause them to do - like eat, sleep, and poop. some youngsters will keep away from doing those issues as a consequence. If a toddler is pooping and the stool is gentle, then it is wonderful in spite of the schedule is. there is not any scientific reason to flow on a daily basis, or at any particular frequency, and absolutely everyone seems to be diverse. some go on a daily basis, some another, some each 0.33 or perhaps much less often. as long via fact the stool remains formed yet gentle then any frequency is wonderful. The frequency can replace via the years, additionally, devoid of inevitably indicating a topic. If it variations all rapidly, then it is a controversy, or if the replace in frequency is accompanied with the help of frustrating, pellet like stools. it is not sparkling to me what form of replace on your son's behavior occurred, or what precisely made it a "terrible time." If the replace replaced into slow, and you reacted with the help of vigorously attempting to alter his behavior, then he could be caught in somewhat a skill interest with you. If the replace replaced into greater abrupt, then he could have some thing which started him off, the two scientific or circumstantial. i'm thinking what might take place in case you spent some days asserting genuinely no longer something approximately his stool. attempt having a classic day, doing in spite of you in many cases do, and alter him if he desires to get replaced, yet in any different case say no longer something approximately it. do no longer ask, cajole, communicate, or in any incorrect way boost his poop. it is that in case you dial the stress down, he will relax somewhat greater approximately it and he could experience that he can the two permit his stool out, or provide the potty yet another decide for it, or the two.

I think my son did that, though not as painfully as you describe. For a bit, he discovered that if he bent his knees with his feet flat on the changing table and moved his knees back and forth slowly, it felt good. I would laugh or say something like "Do you want to be alone?" and he'd smile and laugh. It didn't last long now that the "newness" is over. Recently, he was fascinated with his nipples and knuckles and got the words confused. In time, you son will move on. He's just exploring these new things attached to him and trying to see what they are and what they can do and what he can do with them. I wouldn't worry.

It's a phase. My son would go to town down there every time I took his diaper off and nothing would stop him. Eventually he just decided that he should stop.

My son did the same thing. Kids are curious about their bodies. When he learned to walk I started letting him stand up when I changed him.
