i thought it was 3 days but I heard that its longer than oxycodone.

Why the curiosity? Are you or someone you know going to be drug tested?
If that's the case depending on why you would be getting it, if I'm not mistaken all they need to do is take a strand of hair and test that. They can go back a year with that test, I'm pretty sure.

Oxycodone and oxycontin are the same thing. My mother was on it for 2 months due to a series of 5 absessed teeth (due to diabetes). She is now fully addicted and is being weaned off of it for 6 weeks. She went cold turkey for a week and was throwing up, etc. and was extremely physically ill. Thus the slow detox. If she can't kick it, she'll have to go to a methadone clinic. It's horrible.
According to the University of Arkansas, oxycontin stays in your system for 1 - 2 days.

oxycontin and oxycodone are one in the same. the difference is oxycontin is extended release where as oxycodone isnt. i have had it in my system for 2 years now. due to a disease i have to have it.oxycodone comes in 5 7.5 and 10 milligrams, where as oxycontin comes in 10 20 40 80 and 160 milligrams taking one 80 milligram oxycontin is the same as taking 32 percocets at once .

Oxycontin and oxycodone are the same medication. How long it stays in your system depends on how much and how often you take it. It also depends on if they are using a urine test or blood test.

yeah it should be at least 3 days. maybe a week at best.
