Do you really think harassing people for asking religious questions in the Religion&Spirituality section will work?

Wouldn't you enjoy some other section where they ask other types of questions?

If your problem is that Y!A has a Religion&Spirituality section, shouldn't you take that up with Y!A rather than showing us how petty you can be by harassing people using this section in the way it was intended?

We all know I cannot name the individual I have in mind without being accused of insulting other participants.

But she is conspicuous by her absence here.

Are you speaking about me? I love religious questions. I am an opinionated person. Religion, especially fundamentalism is so hateful about spreading lies. I am here as "beacon of truth".

I agree. People get so used to every thing being censored that they expect to be protected from opinions they can't deal with everywhere they go! If a website has a section called Religion & Spiriuality... you can bet thats what the content in that section is about! And if ppl from all over the world are on the site, don't be shocked when someone disagrees with you!! I am sick of seeing the same arguments on here over and over... I know everyone thinks THEIR religion is the "only way" but that's exactly the problem! You're not going to change anyone's mind through so if you're going to get offended, please, just get off the site (or at least this part of it)!

i think qualified to respond to by way of fact i'm all those issues which you describe. i'm religious, I in many circumstances pass to, and that i in many circumstances answer. I answer to set aside misconceptions. working example, if an atheist (or all people) asks "why is the Bible against eating wine", then i might answer to grant clarification why i think of that may no longer the case, and cite examples the place wine is fed on or maybe inspired. I settle for I probable won't sway somebody's worldview. i'm in simple terms giving an answer which will make open minded human beings say to themselves: "ok, properly..whether i'm no longer changing my popular international view, in this ingredient the theory implied interior the question is incorrect" or "there is an different area to this as properly". extremely interior the West, there are distinctive misconceptions. If human beings reject faith, a minimum of in the event that they study my answer ( i think of) their determination would be extra recommended. by way of fact i'm open minded myself, I actual have reacted a similar on different solutions. each and every so often I in simple terms study. i might choose to think of that my determination to stride my chosen course is suggested. even inspite of the indisputable fact that i'm no longer Hindi myself, I actual have in view that discovered many stable factors with regard to the way of life and faith that condradicted the assumption I had held before. each and every so often whilst that is clean that the questioner isn't extremely open minded, and isn't any longer lots asking a query as attempting to belittle others, I nevertheless answer for the income of different visitors, to have a balanced set of responses. I additionally do it for the sake of different Christians (or the unsure), so as that they do no longer assume the validity of a controversy in simple terms considering it incredibly is unanswered. those are the excuses that i actual pass to. wish it helps.

I object to believers bleating about being persecuted and having digs at atheists. People should be prepared to have their beliefs challenged-as a Buddhist I actively invite people to challenge my beliefs because I'm confident enough that I can defend their logic.

I haven't encountered anyone who objects to religious questions in this forum. It IS R&S after all. I have only encountered those who object to the atheists being here.

I haven't seen anyone complain about religious questions, only about the presence of atheists...and that one is pretty common.
