Just had comcast H/S internet installed. Why will it not let me open any underlined link, or open a new window

comcast says that it is a problem with my anti virus software, but when I contacted Norton, they had me try a lot of didderent things, to which none worked. I can not open underlined links from any where, mail, open pages, etc. It will not even open pic links likes news and sports either. Need help urgently. It will not open any thing in a new window, even when I right click and tell it to.

Open your browser go to Tools>Internet Options> click on the security tab and near the bottom click on the button called Default Level. This sets your security level at medium but leaves most processes active. If this fixes your problem then your security settings were set too high. you can go back and click on the custom level button to adjust security setting.
