If so, what is that relationship?

Yes and no. It can be but doesn't have to be. That would depend on the person you are with and how deeply & spiritually connected you feel to them. Otherwise, it can be little more than just a satisfying of a biological urge and that is not spiritually satisfying. With the right person, it can take you to a whole new level of awareness.

Some people believe there is a relationship between spirituality and sex. I would suggest you research the philosophy behind tantric yoga, as a starting point. It involves a belief that sex can be sacred. Refer to the link I have posted below.

If their isnt then everyone is doing something wrong, because I have a spiritual experience everytime. I think that sex with someone that you dont love is animalistic, and serves it's purpose for our animalistic ways that we need to procreate, which is why sex can become a game of cat and mouse. But when you love someone that you have sex with, then it becomes an explosive union of two souls connecting, and heightening not only their awareness, but the pleasure of feeling such ectasy, which for some such like me it is a spiritual experience.
And I find no shame in believing that is how it was meant, and that sex is not dirty.
I wish you well.

Marquis de Sade believed that orgasms were "little deaths". That at the moment of orgasm, your heart stopped. He didn't have MY heart! I've heard this same thing about sneezing, actually. An orgasm is as much pleasure and joy as the human body can experience. If you are a spiritual person, you have to be in awe of that.

Yes,, I believe my wife to be my soul-mate,,from the beginning to the end of time.

When I was a child I often drew pictures of my dream woman,, when I first saw my future wife in my early 20's I knew it was her. Now many years late I feel the same.

When we make love it embraces and strengthens that spiritual connection.

If everything created by God was good then isn't sex as he intended it a good thing/spiritual?

Since I started meditating and releasing my stress I can control my orgasms so my sex life has improved dramatically. I'm thinking of exploring tantric sex next so I can take my woman to new heights of sexual ecstasy.

Absolutely.

God(tm) put us here to enjoy the fruits of creation. He(tm) put us here in bodies with senses to enjoy ourselves and others. Sex is one of His(tm) gifts.
