I am 26 this year, and he is 38. He seems like a player, but I think if he find some1 suitable, he would be a good bf... can you guys give me ideas on how to approach him subtlely to let him know that I am interested in him? As we are in same department, it will be awkward if things dont work out. So please give me realistic suggestions, which wont make me awkward even if things dont work out. I just want to hint subtle to him and let him be aware of my feelings for him... And I am quite a shy girl too...

You are making the classic mistake of thinking YOU can somehow be the one to make him change his ways. Ugh. He's 38 for crying out loud, his habits are very unlikely to change at this age. Never ming that dating at work can create an ugly mess.

well my dear go to his desk and ask him questions or offer to get him a drink.Say that he looks good and mention u r single. Be polite and when he is looking give him some sexy body language as u walk away. or when u see him at a copy machine go there and bump into him accidently and drop what u r holding. As u both bend to pick it up look deeply into his eyes.

cos your plans have been canceled or something...
then you can have a proper conversation with him

dress nicely,keep your self clean and ask your other co-workers if they know what he is interested in. then start a conversation with him and ask questions showing him that you are interested in what he knows
