If you're a fan of DBZ and are referring to the name "Goten", it means "palace" (Japanese), as in like a castle. I heard that "Goku" means something like "eats a lot" in Japanese, but don't quote me on that.

If it's German, it means 'Goths' - plural of Goth.
I know it applies to the ancient people - not sure if you'd use it to designate followers of the goth fashion movement, though.

right, Judith.. or it's the past tense of "gieten" which means "pour", as in they poured the coffee.

If it's Dutch, it means either "goths" (if capatalised) or "gutters".
