Question repeated.
Surely the clear use of Numerology in the book of Revelation is a clear indication that the book is constructed by a human attempting to design a mysterious looking book, and not a divinly inspired work from the creator of the Universe?

Even Pythagoras 700 bc thought 'mathematics' was divinly inspired. Now we know life aint all that perfect.

I was refering to the construction of the book of revelation. The bible is not one book it is many.
I know all about the so called meanings to numbers that theologians invent. Still is numerology as far as I can see, and that makes it all the more clearer that the book is completly man made. Including all the symbolism and other stuff

I love the avatar and I love you too. There are many reasons why I believe the bible is a book of fiction. Revelations is a huge mess. It is open to a million different interpretations. That is why it was designed in that way.

There is a study called "Biblical Numerology". It teaches that certain Numbers have Spiritual meaning. The Number 40, or 7, for example are Numbers that represent Completion. The Number 6, is the Number of Man,3 is the Number of God.........
I have not done a true study of it, and many Bible Scholars disagree on it's significance.But it is interesting to look into it.
Remember, the Bible was not "Constructed by a human......." It was compiled over a period of 1500 years, by over 40 different people. Still it retains a consistent theme from Genesis to Revelation.

If you believe that you are surely wrong again when you start with a seriously flawed precept all you can get is seriously flawed answers like yours God can do any thing including using numbers to represent any thing he so desires to educate and inform and as any one with a rudimentary knowledge of the Bible knows it is written symbolically, literally and allegorically isnt Revelation a little deep for someone with little or no Scriptural discernment read the rest of the Bible then mabey Revelation will be clearer for you Gorbalizer

Very good! You noticed something that most people have not.
There are instructions in the book that tells everyone that the Bible consists of 3 constructions:
(1) Parts written soley by man - to be ignored
(2) Parts written from the experiences of people with their interactions with God, Angels and other beings - to be taken with a grain of salt - and instructions are given on how to discern what is true and what is faulty memory or an expansion of lies
(3) Parts written directly by God, Angels and Jesus - instructions also exist to determine what parts of these are the true parts and what parts have been written in by man
Also a note is mentioned that many various parts of the Bible have been modified and removed over time as well.
The true full Bible is several thousand pages long - it is TREMENDOUS - and the Vatican is largely responsible for making sure nobody ever sees it - because it clearly states in there that the Vatican should not exist, male priests should not exist, and that the leader of all Christian chapters should be women - something those in power definitely do not want.

I don't remember any Numerolody in Revelations - if you're talking about symbolic numbers, then yes there are a lot of them in the last book. When thinking about the Bible you have to remember that it is divinely inspired, yes, but it's supposed to have been INTERPRETED through human minds. That means that mankind will have made an imprint on the work, and essentially that it is unashamedly a flawed work.
