This life is a trial and our main purpose is not to attain what our hearts desire or wished but to try to attain the heaven in the afterlife by doing good deeds so the reason to live is to praise God and not think about worldly things because we can't get what we desire but what we deserve.

Yes, I would live to enjoy what I had. Besides, unless this was a continuous state of affairs, I'd just want something else next week.

if we have everything we wanted, we would get bored, there would be no goals or challenges, it would get boring pretty fast
