Contact your embassy a.s.a.p.

It is unlikely that you get a new passport but they can give you an LP (Laissez-passer) which is a temporary traveldocument. First they have to verify that you are truly an American citizen though. Many countries also require written proof that you reported the missing passport with the local authorities. Call the embassy and ask them if this is necessary.

Their number is: (010) 6532-3431.

Things will also speed up considerably if you have a photocopy of your passport (you should always have an photocopy with you and have another with relatives or friends at home when travelling) and/or other means of identification? Otherwise things might take a while.
