I've had the same tobacco in my glass canister for about 8 months now, it still smells great and feels the same, but should I replace it??

Although tobacconists would like you to think otherwise, pipe tobacco will keep indefinitely if properly stored. In fact, the tobacco's flavor will mature and improve with age as the flavorings have longer to blend and the tobacco itself begins to mature.

The best way to keep your pipe tobacco is in a well-sealed glass cannister (do not use metal, even if it is a "nonreactive" metal), properly humidified with a carefully maintained humidifying element. I prefer pipe tobacco humidors made from amber or brown glass, since these colors filter out most light. Sunlight or excessive flourescent light will negatively affect your tobacco and give it a skunky flavor.

The best way to clean the body of the nicotine is to drink atleast 8-10 glasses of water per day as it facilitates the process of detoxification including the flushing out of the nicotine substances by the pacing up of the metabolic activities in the body. Secondly, fruits containing Vitamin C act as an efficient antioxidant which helps the body to get rid of toxins by metabolizing the drugs and flushing them out of the body. Thirdly, regular physical activities and rigorous exercise also helps the body to get rid of harmful products and helps to keep the body fit and healthy.

If it is still good smoke it. As long as it is tasting nice it is ok. the only thing to concern you would be mold. (besides the normal anti smoking warnings that is).
