If you are selling anything that you make, or supplies for artists, the best place to sell is on Etsy.com. It's an innovative Web site which is interactive, and fun to browse on. The fees are quite reasonable and it's easy to register. Check it out!
Also, Craigslist.com is a great site which is completely free! You can list your item regionally by clicking on the city nearest to you on the homepage, then go to Post to Classifieds, then selecting the category that best fits your item. All email is confidential, so you aren't giving up your identity to the world.
Both sites are secure and well-known, respected ways to list your items! Good luck!

Half.com and Amazon.com
Half.com is great for selling books, cds, and movies.
Amazon.com lets you list your price for no listing fee but they charge a commission depending on what you sell.
