Your problem could well be allergies, but it might be worth a visit to your doctor. There is an auto-immune condition called Rosacea. This particular condition, can cause eventual disfigurement and even blindness, if left untreated. My daughters both have rosacea, so I speak from experience. The older daughter went through a couple of years of applying various ointments to her face, under doctor's supervision, before she finally saw a dermatologist and got the diagnosis. This is nothing to play with. Please see a doctor. Look at it this way, if it is Rosacea, it is a nice way to keep your skin looking young. My daughters' insurance pays for dermabrasion and special facials and, although you may have to continue treatment throughout your lifetime, it is one way to have your insurance pay for keeping your skin looking young. With treatment, the symptoms disappear and are kept from reappearing.

Could be an allergy to wheat - I had severe itching and red spots all over especially on the face - it drove me crazy. I gave up all wheat products and anything with white flour - it's a tough diet but it gets easier. My skin cleared up and the itching stopped. You have to read labels - you'll never believe what contains wheat. Go to the health food store and buy Capryl. It works great, but you have to stick with it to detox your body.
It's worth a try.

It might indeed be food. But I'm more inclined to think it might be your laundry detergent, since you don't mention it happening any other time. Try using an allergen-free laundry detergent. Or else you could have allergens collecting in your pillow, in which case you'll need to get it cleaned out or replaced.

Good luck!

If this does not work, check out www.hufa.org - the yeast link. They might be symptoms of a yeast overgrowth syndrome.
