There is a scientific test on 11 major areas of men and women. Men won in the raw physical strength department, but women took eht rest (better emotional balance, higer pain threshhold, nimbler small motor control) but I can't find the tests!

there are examples of matricarchal societies, not many though. I think we have religion to thank for todays society with the man on top, so to speak. Nothing can prove that man is superior to woman in the long run, except for the physical strength thing, and that is becoming less and less important these days.

back then women had to do the hard work like slaughter pigs , cook ,wash etc.... etc... they couldn't even vote .
now it's not about science or religion it's just about logic or thinking cause women aren't superior to men nor men to women they are equal they are suppose to have the same rights.
some men just think they are suppose to be superior than women or handle stuff more than women. and that's unfair

Ladies are in certain ways better than men. If one looks at the Adam and Eve story in a different way who was it who brought wisdom and knowledge to mankind. if Eve had not eaten the Forbidden Fruit we would be in the Garden of Edan without having any idea as to right and wrong. a lot depends upon ones perspective.

sigh

There is so much misunderstanding about this concept, it is to weep.

Think about height as an analogy: men are taller than women. But, of course, this is ON Average. What does that mean?

That means take all men, and add their heights -- to make one really tall man :-) -- and divide that height by the number of men. Ditto for women.

Now (in our mental picture) all men are the same height as each other, and all women are the same height as each other.

Men are a little bit taller than women. It's not a huge difference, after all.

But this is not the actual world, this magic "average" -- it's a numerical summary.

If you take each man's height (real height, not the fantasy above), and plotted it on a graph as a dot, then did the same for women, putting the graphs together (where you can see the sexes individually, but can compare them directly to each other), what do you see?

You see that most dots for both sexes are in the same range. By far, there is MUCH more overlap than difference.

Yes, there's a dribbly of men that are taller than all the women, but most men are in the area where there are women taller than they are.

There's MUCH greater variation in women's heights than that "All Important" difference in means BETWEEN the sexes.

The difference in height between the shortest and tallest men is HUGE compared to the difference in averages between the sexes.

So "men area taller than women" is kinda true, but both trivial and misleading, when you really look at it. If you select one of each at random, there's a really good chance that the woman is taller than the man.

So it is with other things, such as "Men are better at mentally rotating objects," "Women can come up with more synonyms in 30 seconds," and other things.

The difference with my height analogy is that, when you look at what the research actually says, the things we differ in are like the two I mentioned. Tiny abilities that by themselves don't mean much, and for each ability in which women excel, there's some (equally trivial) ability in which men excel.

Yet for all of them, like with height, there's more variation within each sex than there is difference between them. The overlap is huge, with just a few dribblies.

(Often what they find is there are more men at both the bottom and the top of the distribution of points, than women; men are more spread out, and, thus, are both dumber AND smarter. But, again, the differences between the sexes are minuscule compared tot he differences among individuals within each sex.)

I'm a 5' 8" tall female, tallish, but by no means Tall. What reality does "men are taller than women" have in my life? Hardly any, really. There's lotsa guys my height and shorter.

1Co 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
It is not a matter of superior. It is a matter of spiritual authority.

Recent research showed their IQs are lower on average than men's and their spatial awareness isn't as acute, so the differences aren't just physical.
