Most of the time it takes a dog 63 days from time of conception,but on a few occasions a dog will sometimes deliver sometime around 56 to 63 days,because if a big litter,she will deliver early,and the time span depends on if she was bred more than one time during her heat cycle,because some dogs don't take on the first breeding.Rare but does happen.

Pregnancy in the dog lasts approximately 63 days. The normal due date can be about 1 week either side of the predicted 63 days. In cases of large litters, length is usually lessened. In cases of small litter numbers, length may increase.

62 to 63 is the norm. It is just like humans... there is no one day that is going to be correct for every dog.

63 days....but actually 58 from moment of conception....not mating a dog can hold on for up to five days before actually conceiving from a mating....
