If he was so thin when he was young, then why did he become so fat when he got older??? Symbolism? Don´t write anything about food now.

i dont know maybe he was to lazzy and sat around all the time so when he did eat he got fat

He was a well fed, wealthy and active warrior prince when he was young so he was probably quite athletic. We all put on a bit of weight as we get older-even the spiritually enlightened. I don't know if his corpulence in iconic imagery has some symbolic or cultural significance.
