If you dont take Hell all that seriously, what makes you think non christians will?

Question

Aparently us non believers are going to burn in HELL fire for all eternity.
For those christians that believe the bible to be the literal word of God, and that you have the Love of this God within you, how can you possibly think of anything else in life? This life on earth must be like living in a garbage can compared to eternal life?
Is it like "Their eternal soul is at stake, but hey, we dont make a big deal about it, there is more important things to do in life"?
Or do you just not care about it?
Like I asked

Now I am aware there will be alot of smart a$s christian replies, they will just be thumbesd down by me and will never be seen by me again..

As I said, us UNBELIEVERS of course dont take it seriously, most of christendom doesnt.

--I do take hell seriously! But I am saved from it- because of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who has suffered a painful death on the cross, HE was the one sacrifice for sin, so that I could be set free from sin, and from eternal separation from God- which is Hell- It is very Real, it is a LITERAL hell.


Matthew 8:12
But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

Matthew 13:42
They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

God is sinless and be became a Man ( Jesus Christ) to take your punishment and die on the cross so that you could live eternally with him in his kingdom, and be SET free from the bondage of sin- washed clean- Justified and sanctified in him! ( Ephesians 1-2)
To know you have sinned against God- according to HIS standards, look at the 10 commandments- have you ever broken one of them? Just one- that will separate you from God, because sin is sin- and God does not allow sin into heaven. For God is HOLY and JUST. Just like in our justice system, the judge who sees the crime and the criminal, he does not just say "Ok I forgive you, you can go" does he? --BUT Christ has made a way for us to be set free- By putting our faith IN HIM< and following him- not only do you receive eternal life in heaven, but you receive his precious Holy Spirit- sealed forever ( Again Ephesians 1 for that)
God is JUST, and he is HOLY- But even that he is LOVE! What greater love is there than that HE that lay down his life for his friends! (John 15:13, John 10:11)
--There is no greater love! God did NOT have to die for us- we dont deserve his great love- for we have all sinned and have fallen short of his glory ( romans 3)
But by his grace, we are saved, not because of good works or anything good in us, for no one is good not one ( Romans 3:10) and It is only by GRACE that we are saved, because God wanted to do this out of HIS own will. (Ephesians 2:8)
How thankful I am to the Lord! I will forever sing praise unto him- for he has saved me from the depths of Hell, and has granted me eternal life in HIM! I will share this great news with all who are willing to hear- because I do not want to see people reject the truth, and be sent to Hell.

So YES, I take it very seriously~ And I praise God who has made a way for us to pass from judgment, into life~

John 5:24

What is more important in life than doing Gods will and saving people? Youre projecting your own way of life onto believers!

We take hell VERY seriously, that plays a big part in getting saved. (because you dont want to be judged) It is actually unbelievers that take a light view of judgment and salvation. Many think there is no judgment for sins, others think Heaven is an absolute snap to get into!

So who is taking hell more seriously? Believers or unbelievers?

I grew up in the same situation as you. Pressure! Pressure! You sound like a believer. When you're that age, so much is going on around you. People say this, while others are saying that. You never know what to believe. You just need to decide who YOU are. Who cares what other people may think. Your morals should be the most important thing. It is hard to have "faith" because there isn't anything we can see. BUT, everyday I see faith. Little things, like someone holding the door for a stranger or BIG things, like someone giving up their house for a less fortunate family. If it's in your heart and it's what you believe then go with it. I also have seen the Holy Spirit in people and I do believe in miracles. And.... to finish, I don't think there is a way to "prove" anything. It's up to you.

Christians fall into many groups, some follow God because fear of hell, I consider this group as the newly faithful, normally they have made mistakes in the past and are worried about the wrath of God, but do not understand the nature of God and what he wants for us.

Others follow God out of Love for him and thanks for what he has given to us. We acknowledge there is a hell, but most of us don't go around judging others. We follow God because we really want to, we are not only trying to avoid all sin, we are trying to live a God wants us to and Jesus showed us how to.

No group of Christians are going to be perfect, I certainly am not, we are all human. It is sad when some denounce the faith based on what they judge as us being "Hypocritical" when we are all going to make mistakes.

Sure you can call us hypocrites, because very few can truly live up to what we can be through God. We try and we are thankful that we have a forgiving God and redemption.

That does not mean we all go out and sin all we want, remember, we want to live like God wants us to. We want to follow the few simple rules he gave us so that we can have a happy life on earth and also make it to Heaven.

I take Hell very seriously, whether you choose to believe me or not. However, it took an encounter with the Holy Ghost to make it real for me. All unbelievers need this same type of experience.

we dont take hell seriously mainly because we know that christians invented it in the middle ages to scare people. as far as i know there is no hell. only thing ever mentioned is the kingdom of god where there is justice and peace everywhere.kinda boring place if u ask me but i dont think its an actual state that can be achieved. the process of trying to achieve it is a much better act anyway

and honestly, if u were to read a bit more of the Bible you'd realise our viewpoint on life and hell, isnt by any means same as yours!

nor do we view the world as it is today FOLLOWING your reasoning. i could quote the Bible easily, but seeing that you're not going to be accepting it, nay forget it. i'll pray for your eyes to see, just as i did in your last question, even if it may take years, seeing how you superficial you really could be.

Sin, hell and satan are all man made words. There is no hell.
