Yes, That's a myth.

With stress, as it is, you get so many other problems. Grey hair has to do with hereditary. Sort of like baldness is.

I had my first streak of grey hair when I was 16. Go figure. My dad is completely bald. It started as grey hair at his young age, he told me.

If you have grey hair at a young age, just ignore it. Color it and be happy. Some people just leave it natural. Your choice. Coloring is known to cause all kinds of problems later in life.

People color because it affects their work, promotion, customer response (if in sales), dating etc...

Yes, I think so. There are documented cases where hair changed color or fell out over a very short period of time after severe stress. And the severity of the stress depends on the emotional makeup of the person involved.
Usually it is genetic. I can thank my dad's father for the fact I have little grey, while it is my mom's dad's fault that my dome glares so much, they won't let me on an airport runway ; D
Hope you aren't asking this question for personal reasons, but if you are, there are far worse things that can happen.

No, its true. Even tho people say I look alot younger for my age I do have grey hair and some hair loss. When you have 5 kids you 'know' the meaning of stress. The answer-time management, and very understanding friends.

This does not seem to be a myth. Loss of hair color and loss of hair are both associated with overwhelming stress in humans, for both males and females.

However, not all premature gray hair is stress related. Genetics has a lot to do with this.

It's not a myth it's reality. Have a look at Tony Blair, the man come all young and shiny to power somewhere in 1997, look at the way he looks now.

I think stress make your genes and organism work twice as fast as they should and speed up your aging.

That is the reason why i take it easy now.
