Don't u think we should warn our youth about how dangerous it is? like your skin and teeth just fall out and you look freakish and what about your brain? oh my gosh..it really takes a beating! and then you are never the same person again ever????wow..that is horrible...what do u guys think??? People should be glad that we are in a great country and there is no need to be wanting wanting wanting attention...just cope with it the best you can..no need to go crazy! Look at the other side of the world..people are struggling to live! Why would americans be so selfish and always be all about themselves when they have it so good????

Uh yeah, well getting back to the crystal meth I think it is the worst drug, I have seen it destroy 2 of my friends from school.
This unshaven guy who looks about ten years older than me knocks on my door and says 'hey man glad to see you" then I realise he is my friend from school and he has been hallucinating and having paranoia and thinking demons are under the floorboards of his house, anyway he cleans himself up and goes to drug rehab, 3 months later he is back on the burns!

Yet a lot of otherwise straight people dabble in this drug as if it was nothing while drinking low fat milk with decaffeinated coffee.

People start using drugs of any kind for the same reason, in my experience, it is to feel better about their lives. We do warn our kids, but kids think that they are immortal. Keep getting the word out there, keep trying. I am wondering how closely you look at other people's life styles as you say there is no need to look for attention. I am a juvenile justice worker and would LOVE to take you to work with me for just one day, any day, and let you see the neglect and the need the kids face. So many times the parents choose a significant other who is abusing the children because "He/she will grow up and I am NOT going to be alone!" This means the children are either on their own or out of their homes in a foster home or institution. Parents who are drug addicts are the worst, they just can't focus on anything but their next fix. Not everyone has it so good. I am happy that you do and I hope you count your blessings today. I personally know many kids who won't eat today (because their parents have squandered the food money), have no heat (and it is cold here) and don't even know where to find a parent in an emergency. You are truly sheltered and I am very happy for you. I wish I could say the same about all the kids I know. They don't have it so good, dear.

I can't figure out why someone would feel the need to do something like that. I really think the people who do Meth are very unhappy their lives or want to be the center of attention in some way, what a way to get attention! They need to find something else to do with their time and appreciate what they do have.

Yes we should all know meth is bad for ALL of us. But some people just think they are cool when they use it, and it's WRONG.Some people use it to be happy because they're not, which is really sad because they don't know that they are not only hurting themselves, but hurting the people around them. Some celebs also take drugs and when it is published in a magazine, Kid or young adults that read it will know that it is really awesome to take drugs.Some kids don't even know that once you start you cant STOP. People use meth to "escape" from their personal reality. Most meth users are losers before, during, and after they use meth. They don't value their life or recognize the true gift that life in our country represents to people around the world.
