What do you mean, "the black driver one". Police cannot be racist, but they can do you for being a liar and wasting their time. Isnt that being racist yourself by saying they couldnt see your face because you are black??????
If its your car, you have responsibility for knowing who is driving it when and where.
Pay the fine, dude.
I just got a similar one for flicking a cigarette butt out my window. (see my question).

As many have already said ..pay up!...
Ultimately you will end up in the magistrates court, and if you do that you will have defence and prosecution costs on top of any fine imposed for the original driving offence.
I'm not sure if I am reading right...but I guess you have heavy points on your licence already and may lose it, but if you will insist and persist in committing driving offences, then expect to be punished.
By the way, the use of the 'race card' issue...I find repugnant!...You should be ashamed , there are many occasions when people from other races are discriminated against...and people like you make it more and more difficult for them to get justice when you 'play the race card!'

Hi Anthony,
The first thing you need to do is contest the fine.
You will then get a date and time for the hearing.
The onus is on the prosecution to prove, beyond a reasonable doubt, that you were guilty of the offence. In other words they have to show evidence that it was you who was driving the car, or were in charge of the car at the time the offence was committed.
Can they show this?
If they can you have had it.
If not, there is no case to answer.

If you deny it was you driving you are supposed to give the name of the driver responsible. There was a loophole round this for a while but I think they closed it down last year. They use high resolution technology to confirm the drivers features and the racist card doesn't work under these circumstances. I guess its stump up or lose the license. sounds like you have a lot of points !

You miserable little toe rag! You commited an offence whilst driving, speeding or whatever it was, you broke regulations, which are there for the safety of all of us, and now you expect us to help you cheat the system! I am not surprised you were not believed about being a friend of the chief justice. I imagine he would be more selective in choosing his friends, and try to exclude the dishonest ones. Pay your fine you skin-flint.
P.S. You were wrong about the `six months` bit, unpaid fines stay on file, so in years to come you could find yourself presented with the fine to pay plus interest for late payment.

I think there is still some argument as to whether YOU HAVE to state who was driving.
However, sounds to me like you are a pretty cr"p driver and need to be taken off the road - judging by the amount of letters you say you have written.
So, GET OFF THE ROAD. Think about the safety of others even if you obviously have a total disregard for yourself and the law.

you get the fixed penelty notice, ignore the first one, you get a second one fill it in wrongly in some small way,
if they realise they will send it back, re fill it in but forget to sign it.
keep it going six months and your free
if they dont realise the conviction is un safe
or you lent the car to a friend who has left the country, tell them you only know his first name and he is somewhere in new zealand, you think he comes from there or maybe australia,
they wont persue
