Meth will rot your teeth, cause sores, ruin your life and cause you to change. You will no longer be you if you become and addict
METH IS EXTREMELY ADDICITIVE. ONCE AND YOUR HOOKED. THE MORE ITS DONE THE HARDER IT IS TO REHAB. Among meth addicts in rehab, 2 out of 10 will make it out and the others will relapse.
DON"T LET THEM DO IT

The primary side effects of meth use are jitteryness, nervousness, and repetitive behaviour.
One physical side effect is dilated pupils, although these can be associated with other conditions as well.
The bit about teeth falling out is somewhat true. A number of the side effects of meth use will cause an addict to both neglect their teeth and reduce the bodies natural abilities to reduce decay. An addicts teeth do not just fall out. They do however decay much more rapidly than normal.
It is not impossible to stop meth use without special help, but it is very unlikely that this person will do so.
Your best bet is to contact a counselor and ask them about what sort of drug rehabilitation programs are in your area.
Good luck.

First, please calm down. Panic or extreme fear will help neither of you.
You cannot stop your friend from doing meth The only way anybody stops using or drinking is if they really want to. You do not have the power to convince them. It will not happen till they reach their bottom.
If you believe in prayer, pray for him and for the wisdom to do the right thing. While you may not be able to help that person, you can help yourself by going to Al Anon to help you to understand the nature of addiction (There is a program called Nar Anon, but there are no meetings in this general area) and what you can do to cope with it.
You are right. Meth is very difficult to kick. It can be done only if the addict is thoroughly convinced he has a problem and is willing to do what it takes to stop. There are many who have and enjoy far better lives today.
Symptoms are similar for all amphetamines. Racing thoughts, jittery, lost weight, hollow looking eyes and face, constantly wired for days, followed by a crash, and so on. Focus on someone you can help: Yourself. Good Luck to both of you.

My suggestion is that you should see if any other friends or family has noticed. If so you can organize an intervention (with just friends) don't get parents involved yet. Gather the whole group of you to drop in on them and go around the room and have everyone tell this person thier feelings about it and what it can do to them. Then i fthey have the will to stop, keep an eye on em and try to keep them away from it. Find a hobby that they might enjoy and participate in. If all this doesn't work, you're gonna hafta let the proffesionals step in.

Their parents need to be informed and involved. It is such a dreadful drug, it makes the person unreasonable, and even violent. Don't take this task on yourself.
If they already have meth mouth, caused by changing the pH of the saliva, they have been on it quite a while, all the more reason to distance yourself from this individual, so that you don't get caught up in the vortex of the destruction.

Produces mainly depression when withdrawing suddenly, Yes she will need help, but she will have to want the help. Look for signs of shrinking of pupils, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, and lowering of blood pressure. Many addicts have poor health. They do not eat well and often suffer infections caused by unsterile injection equipment. Their death rate, including death from overdose is 20 times higher than that of non-addicts.
