To all the people who keep saying that raw eggs make a dog's coat shiny, that is a myth....an old wives' tale....a total falsehood. It has never been true, despite being constantly passed around as 'true.'
Raw eggs actually contain a substance that makes a dog's coat more DULL, not shiny. It causes a biotin deficiency in them. This is WELL KNOWN among people who have an education in animal nutritional physiology and biochemistry. If you don't, I'm not sure why you'd even answer a question you're not qualified to. :-/
(Just FYI: cooking eggs destroys that substance, so it's no longer an issue....but you really shouldn't feed dogs cooked eggs for other reasons, unless you have been specifically directed to do so by your veterinarian.)
Dogs can and do get Salmonella poisoning from raw eggs as well.

Yes, but they shouldn't be fed raw to dogs for the same reason people don't eat them raw. Eggs may have salmonella which makes us very sick.

Yes they can and love them, good source of protein. People who have chickens have to teach their dog not to get the eggs, once it does, it will most times never stop "Sucking Eggs". If you give a dog raw eggs, crack them over their food, do not let them have the whole egg. I guess in town it OK, in the country where people have chickens, it a "No, No"!

All the time.
In agricultural areas, the term "suck egg dog" is an insult because some dogs will go into the hen house and help themselves to the hen's eggs.
This costs the farmer money (see "egg money") and deprives the farmer's family of cheap protien and nourishmnet.

Yes they can. I wouldn't give it eggs all the time, but mix one egg with their dog food. Maybe 2 or 3 times a week. This is good for their coats, or you could try vegetable or corn or olive oil. About a tablespoon or two mixed in with their dog food.

yes shells also. dogs are carnivores not human they are supposed to have raw food, their digestive system is highly acidic and fast able to accept raw food but always do research do not just start throwing raw food at the dog there is a right and wrong way.
