The troops do there job. they don't think about regret, can't afford to do that. They also don't care at all about politics. They care about living one more day. I support them 100 percent in that effort.
As for a end, there is always hope, even when things are a desperate as now in Iraq. Iraq is in civil war. Only a real idiot would say they are not in civil war. After November when Democrats control the Senate the impeachment of Bush will go forward. The investigations will be greater than Nixon and Clinton added.

Our son just got out of the Air Force a little while ago. He wasn't home when his first child was born, he was proudly serving his country. If you ask him and all of his friends (many of whom are still in Iraq) if they regret anything, what they regret is that we don't get the correct information from the news and that some of America isn't supporting them! None of them feel like they are wasting their time, they are all proud of our country and they want to win this thing.
Not only do they not regret going to war, they would all go back in a heartbeat to keep the war "over there"! Of course they want to be home but they see the big picture, most of us don't. We are fed incorrect information - talk to our service men and women, then you'd get the truth.
Even if you don't support the politics, support our troops, they deserve your prayers and unconditional support. They are over there protecting all of us, we owe them a big "thank you".

I was talking with a marine last night about Iraq, he served over there for a year. He lost 3 of his friends and 1 died in his arms. He is home now but he can go back anytime for the next 2 years. He feels we should have our troops come home but knows this is what has to be. GOD BLESS AMERICA

Our nephew recently got back from being stationed in Iraq for over a year on active duty, and he said that the morale of the troops is high, and they are all committed to serving their terms and doing their duties. Don't put words in their mouths just because you don't approve of why they are there.

Of all the people I know fighting in Iraq none of them regret the war, and all of them want to finish the damn job and come home. What pisses them, and us off, is that we cant get any backing at home.
If we just put all our efforts into the damn thing it'd have been over four years ago. None of this twinkle toe- dance around the bush- liberal bull crap. Give them everything they need, fund it completely, finish the whole job at once, and come home.

I know several people who are over there, there are no regrets - they brag to me abou all the stuff they are accomplishing- roads, schools- a thriving local economy. It is on a small measure - which you see on TV. Oh course they want to come home, when the job is done. They are proud of what they do and proud of their country.
