Send in the envoronmental health officer for the local area. Phone the council and then ask to be put through, they will go and check it out and you can be annonymous. Its not a good thing to have rats running around a food store due to contamination of all sorts of nasty deseases. Thumbs down on Morrisons!!!

My rats loved dry pasta and cooked pasta. You can give them any kind of fruit or vegetable. My rats loves those little cherry tomatoes and grapes. You can definitely give them human food, in fact it's good to supplement their diet with fruits and veggies, but don't overdo anything else (like the pasta). Make sure you're also feeding your rat approved rodent food, which you can find at any pet store and even Wal-Mart. The ones with sunflower seeds seemed to be a favorite with my rats. Hope this helps! Good luck with your new rat!

I read in the local paper just recently (south devon) that a man found a live frog in his sandwich from morrisons. how the hell did that happen. Must have been a prank.
In answer to your question these kind of matters should be reported to the local health and safety authorities.

They need to be reported to the Environmental Health Department of the local council right away - this is potentially dangerous.

Get in touch with the county health inspector. They have power to shut the store down if they don't comply with the laws.

7 weeks sounds suspicious. Health inspectors are really strict and shop can't risk being caught with that sort of probem going on for any length of time.

If you believe your friend (or perhaps anyway to be sure) contact environmental health and advise them so it can be checked out.

AND SHOP ELSEWHERE FOR NOW!!!
