All those answers, so far, sound absolutely wrong. They seem to be addressing a bath tub instead of a hot tub. Seriously, you don't want to put anything into your hot tub that shouldn't be there.

Go to your local hot tub store and ask them this question. Trust me, if there is anything available for the hot tub that addresses your concern, they will be happy to sell it to you.

Everything else is going to create more dirt and discolored water and will clog your filter.

emu oil is good. I don't know if it would clog up the parts or whatever. I doubt it but I have no idea.

You could always put it on your skin afterwards.

edit: do you mean a regular bath tub or an actual hot tub, jacuzzi type thing?

Warm/hot water increases the chances of drying your skin.It dries out the normal oil of your skin. You might as well change the temperature of the water used in bathing.

I would add a few tablespoons of olive oil to the bath and just lay in it for 15 minutes and relax.. You'll feel the difference.

Yes, aloe would help. Buy a soap with aloe-vera and add that to the water.
