I personally love dogs, but this question is so much more than the words here. A person's lifestyle really determines what pet is the best for them.

A dog is the best pet. Sure, they require more care and attention than alot of other pets but the payoff is their undevoted love for you.

A goldfish they are low maintenance especially for people who only want a puppy or kitten while they are little and dont want them as they grow up. Or for people not willing to do research on their animal and keep regular vet visits . An you dont have to worry about being in humane cause your tying a goldfish up in the back yard like most people do their dogs. Plus they dont scratch or bite and are good for your blood pressure.
