I still haven't forgotten about any of my ex's. I mean, I don't think about them every day but I can still recall details about each one and about each relationship.

Depends on the relationship.... Plus what you mean about forgetting them...

I still think about some of my old exs.... Not that I want to get back together again, just think about my past and what I have got now.... How luck I am with what I have now. looking back at what I thought was special then realising it wasn't love it was just a good relationship.... I have many ex's still as good friends, but doesn't mean I want them back.... I'm married not to type of guys I dated, completely different.

You forget about the bad ones, the good ones depends on the circumstances and how it finished and why....

No point in crying over spoilt milk so they say... Get on with your life and you'll go through many relationships until you find the right one...

So no real answer to this question, apart from how long is a piece of string? Depends on how short you cut it.

Same with forgetting ex's, it could take a long time or not.

When you try to meditate, you have to stop all thoughts. People often try and fail but thinking, 'I am going to think of nothing.' Which is a contradiction because it is a thought. Your mind doesn't work in a way where you can choose what to forget. The pain of a breakup is like a fog that surrounds your life. It makes it difficult to do almost anything and can cloud your decision making. There is nothing you can do to lift the fog, the fog has to leave and it is moving at it's own pace. What you have to do, is not let the fog ruin your day. You have to concentrate on your life, you have to focus on improving yourself, you have to make sure you life is moving forward and not backward. You have to work out, work on school/job, whatever you have to. And when the fog finally lifts, you will be stronger and better for it. And now that you have improved yourself, you have raised your 'number' and will be able to find a better partner than before. Best of luck.

there are a lot of factors involved in that... i mean a casual ex is forgotten as soon as a new hottie steps in the room... but someone you love is never forgotten even after you break up and fall in love with someone else... you dont forget the past you learn from it...

Depends on the situation and if it did or did not end amicably. If it ended not so well I would guess close to the time of how long you dated. If it is a first love,..the rest of your life but the thoughts will be then pleasent.

cheers

Sometimes never, depends on how agreeable the break up was and for what reasons. Some of mine I choose not to think about but others still bring back nice memories.

Sometimes never. I remember the few good men I've had the pleasure of knowing. None so much as the one I haven't known enough of yet.

They never forget, but they get over it, when they realize that they were hurting themselves by staying a relationship that was a dead end...

Never. I still remember every single one of them. The only thing I've forgotten is what it felt like to be with them. I only remember whether they were "good" or "bad."

In cases where that person was special, most probably never.
