Does anyone know any interesting rules for the dress code in different countries e.g.

It is unlucky to wear (colour) in (country)
It is frowned upon to wear ______ in (country)
It is illegal to wear ______ in (country)

Also do you any good website addressing dress codes and ettiquette in different cultures/countries?

Many thanks

Overall, I would think decent dressing constitutes the dress code for most Asia Pacific & European countries. As longer as it's not a 'birthday suit', you're fine.

For Moslem countries, I suppose the rule for proper dress code is wearing something with the least exposure or in other words 'all covered up' from head to toe.

Monster has some good tips at http://workabroad.monster.com/archives/etiquette

I'm sure there are a zillion additional sites and so much information that perhaps you should narrow it down to particular countries you are interested in.

PS. I believe it is illegal for a woman to wear a one piece bathing suit in Brazil haha :D
