I desperately want another baby and have 2 boys aged 12 and 7 at the moment, it's all i think about. My husband is getting very annoyed with me, as he feels with the boys at school, we have more time to spend together. I can't fully understand why i suddenly have became obssesed with another baby, i just can't help it.

I believe every mother goes though this stage at some point in her life. Think about all the things you would have to give up or save up to have a new baby around, I know its cute and nice but will you have to give up anything to make this happen. You have a 12 and 7 year old and are you willing to go back to diapers and teething and sleepless nights its up to you and your husband don't leave him out. But if you know someone that has a baby, spend a day so your memory can be refresh from when you had little ones. Your obsession might change, Your husband is annoyed because he knows your time together will change and I don't blame him because both of your children are in school full time and can be independent when need be. Its tough to go back to some one depending on your every moment, so think about it and Good Luck..

Most of us go through it, do you really want another baby? Do you remember the sleepless nights and colic baby. The making of formula etc etc? The feeling well pass when you realize how independent your boys are now and how much time you can finally spend on your marriage. If you still want a baby in a year then talk it over with your hubby.

Men will never understand the urge you get when you want to have another baby. Explain to your husband why you want a new baby is it a real reason or do you feel like you kids don't need you as much and want to fill the void.

Sounds like Empty Nest Syndrome. My mom went through the same thing. With all her children growing up and not depending on her as much, she didn't feel needed anymore. She's actually talking about adopting a baby!
