I strongly disagree with the insensitivity you have received, this is a SERIOUS situation. I have a chi, and he gets chilled at the slightest breeze. The outlook for a little guy like Jr. is not good I'm sorry to say. Domestic chi's don't fair well in the elements, they have the possibility of being killed by cars and animals as well. They are also hypoglycemic, if they get stressed and don't have food to boost their blood sugars, they can also die! You need to find that little guy, and soon! Post a photo of him all over your neighbour hood, and as far as you can. Dogs have been known to travel great distances in confusion. If you don't have a photo of him yet because he's quite young, find a photo of a dog that looks similar and post it. people will get the idea of what they are looking for. After all he should be the only chi running around the neighbour hood. Call all the vets in your area and see if someone turned him in, and then give them his photo to be on the look out. Phone your local shelters. Phone the city to see if there is someone else you can ask. With all my heart I hope you find him, for his sake and yours.

Aww. I'm really sorry. Hope you find him. I've had missing pets before and those days were the worst in my life.
1 - call neighbors, unless you have an overabundance of them.
2 - call everyone with in a mile with dogs. animals tend to go to other animals.
3 - if you can't find him within a day, contact some area animal shelters - depends on the size of your city - and alert them. consider putting an ad in the newspaper. if you're allowed, hang up posters.
hope you find him! calling people with dogs especially is a great way to start. if someone finds a dog, they'll call people with dogs, and if close by people all know you're dog is missing they can direct others.

I can't imagine how stupid people are, they lose their dogs and their dog's age is measured in mouhts, what the he11 is a mouht? and geez shut up it's just a stupid dog, just get another one...
