Of course- it's mostly up to their care how they smell. Keep them clean, feed them well, and they won't smell!!! Keep away from dogs with floppy ears. They tend to get ear issues that smell awful.

sorry to say that all dogs will smell bad at one time or another especially when wet, but dry shampoo can help with this. as far non moulting dogs are concerned, there are a number of breeds that have wool as opposed to hair, these are the dogs that have to have hair cut like Poodles, old English sheepdogs, shih tzus, Bjorn friese, laso apso etc . take a look at breeds books, or ask vets, breeders or at the doggy beauty parlour. good luck

I have an old english sheep dog they require brushing to keep from matting but if you keep them in a puppy cut you should be ok. All dogs smell if you don't bathe them and take care of them. You won't find hair all over your house with one but they do require work. If you keep up on the brushing with any dog you shouldn't have a problem.

I'm still to find a dog that has feathers.
Found lots of dogs that "shed" tho'
Shedding is simply one of the things that dogs do, I personally wonder sometimes about when someone wants a dog that doesn't shed, doesn't bark, on-and-on if maybe they don't want a dog at all.

Supposedly standard and small poodles don't shed. Look up this breed on the internet. Alot of people think that poodles are "froo froo" pets but a standard poodle that doesn't have that stupid haircut is really a good dog and loyal. Because their hair is knotty, they don't shed.

They are fine if you wash them once in a while and comb them regularly.
