i have recently pierced my tragus. how long till i can change the bar?

Pardon my ignorance but what is a tragus?

usually 3 -5 weeks,tragus piercings heal quickly

That's a tragus, for the person who didn't know.
As for the piercing, yes wait six weeks before you do anything with it. Keep it clean. Peroxide or the piercing solution you were supposed to get if it was done professionally. If you did it yourself, then peroxide, and the salt water solution. It'll hurt though. But good to luck to you.

i have a few pierceings and the Golden rule is let it heal this is usually 6 weeks and keep it clean! bath it in cooled boiled salt water a few times a day! if in dought ask the place where you got if done! they should have give you this info already!

I agree, wash in hot salt water a few imes a day, as this helps it to heal quicker.

here's a clue- ask your piercer!!! You should already know this information when you are considering a piercing.
If you mean you did it yourself, well.. good luck with that.
