You sound like you feel defeated. When that happens, it is important to be around people who can make you laugh and support you. Go out in nature as much as you can, especially places that are peaceful and beautiful. Spend as much time as you can with puppies and kittens, as they will love and play with you and make you smile. Be sure you have a good schedule, doing something every day, and do it well so you have instant feedback the you are now doing well. Then, blink and reboot your mind and yourself. Good luck.

Look for the perfection in the things that man has not made, carved out or otherwise had no say or particapating in. Then you will realize a greater power and beauty than anyone of a self-righteous ego spirit. Good music of the bird song, ocean waves, rain-snow, plant and tree growth. get some chickens, and let them run around your yard and watch how they interact with other animals, and are never too bored to investigate the ground, how they with out a watch, know the time to roost as the sun has not set yet.

"Time heals all wounds."
The worst thing you can do is give up.
However, maybe you should try to avoid returning to the thing that broke your spirit, at least for a time - until you feel stronger.
Try to find a hobby, a new vocation, or join a group like a local club or sporting team. Perhaps taking night classes would give you something to do.
Try to make more friends, and get out and enjoy other people's company more. Investigate new, constructive forms of recreation.
Listen to more music, but avoid songs that remind you of whatever it was that depresses you. Plus some up tunes!
Try to create something that you are proud of, and can show other people.
Smile! It really does make you feel better, even if you do not feel like doing it. And, it gets easier.

Make a note of all the things that are positive in your life, e.g., good health, no physical disabilities, well educated, a home, friends, etc.. On the other side of this 'mental paper' note down all the things you feel are negative, e.g., no job, poor relationships with some one, exam failure, etc..
Then see which of the negative ones you can do something about - and plan to do it a.s.a.p.!
By overcoming one negative aspect in your life you are taking the first step towards rebuilding your spirit. This small increase in self esteem will encourage you to continue improving your lot, and before you know it you'll be back to being your former happy self.
Good luck on your journey.

Pick up the pieces and walk away. Lick your wounds and start building. The human spirit has, many times, been trampled on, shattered and dragged in mud. But we always get up and go. Whenever I feel defeated, I like to remember how people fared during the bombing in London in WW2. Of course I wasn't there, but they got up, swept the slate clean and kept going. This is just one example of the resilience of the human spirit. Take care and think how lucky we are! Cheers! =)

I took a vacation in Jamaica. It was truly Soul Cleansing.
It is amazingly inexpensive to go to Jamaica.
The air is clean, the water in the ocean is probably 85 degrees, the people are beautiful, and the food is excellent.
I have never felt so much peace and healing as I did in Jamaica. I felt like all the toxicity my soul had gathered and endured throughout my life had been cleansed away. I came back a truly different being. I can only describe the feeling as being lighter in weight (as if the weight of every burden I carried had been lifted from my shoulders), and I felt as if the sun shined from within my soul.
I truly wish you luck in your search for healing, and hope you find the peace and harmony I was fortunate to find in Jamaica.

Nothing could break my spirit. If you or someone broke your spirit, prayer and going to church and asking God for guidance would help a lot!

That is such a romantic way to put it, I think you have more spirit than you suppose.
Find something to fill yourself up. Maybe music? Art? Take a class? anything to move forward.
