It's been sometime since I have said the Pledge of Allegiance. And I don't have a problem in not saying it often. If I made a pledge, I keep that pledge. I don't have to repeat the pledge often to keep the pledge.
I also want to point out to "lost&confused" that all the words in the Pledge of Allegance are not the original words. It has had at least two changes. The last came in 1954 when Congress added the "Under God" portion following a campaign to do so by the Knights of Columbus. It was their goal to make it both a pledge and a national prayer.

In this example, the dad and mom’ needs must be revered through the institution process. Until the little one turns into an grownup, she have to reside beneath the guide & tutelage of her mum and dad. For illustration, permit’s consider that you just instructed your daughter that you just didn't desire her to be at the volleyball workforce and also you made your needs identified to the volleyball instruct. And then permit’s say that your daughter discovered that your selection was once “dumb,” so she simply went forward and signed up for the workforce. In this example, the institution must honor the needs of the dad and mom. Similarly, in view that the institution is aware of that the dad and mom of this lady don't desire her to be concerned with the evil affects of nationalism, they must preclude her from announcing the pledge of allegiance and/or saluting the flag. Now what the dad and mom do at residence is as much as them. But if I had a daughter who willfully disobeyed my directions, I could most likely take a few movement similar to limit of privileges to begin with. I could additionally search council from the elders approximately this topic.

Yes, thankfully in Virginia, my daughters school and her brothers school both have the original version of the pledge of allegiance, I am not religious its just point in fact. Why change something that was written by someone who had reason and belief to write it as is, maybe the person who originally wrote it didnt want it rewritten...Soon they will attack the in God we trust on our currency

Last week - I picked up my granddaughter from kindergarten..this was one of the lessons we "practiced" on the way home. We recited under god..... altho I think our government is as corrupt as any third world country I still think it's important to instill USA pride in our children...as I remain hopeful!
